I stayed here for 5 nights in June 2011. Perfect location in easy walking distance to the main sights. Very quiet street. Staff are very friendly and willing to help at every opportunity. I stayed in the hamman room and loved the heated room, especially after a 5 hour bus ride. Very relaxing to lay on the heated marble and then finish off with a vigorous rub and warm rinse. Great hotel and can recommend it.

We stayed in the Blue Mosque suite. The terrace is spacious and furnished just as it appears on the website. Even though the weather was mixed I so enjoyed just having the door open a lot! Had a sunny day when I read my book lying on the swing....so relaxing! Room and bathroom spotless, bed comfy and large. Breakfast offered a big choice, complimentary tea in the afternoon much appreciated as was room service...no need to starve! Best of all were the staff who made us feel so at home and could advise us about tours, transport etc. Thanks Celal and Kenan. I hope we'll meet again one day.

Cet hotel est très bien placé à Istanbul en plein Sultanhamet, mais dans une rue calme. L'hôtel est petit (14 chambres) mais très confortable avec lit XXL et douche non moins XL. L'accueil y est très agréable, personnalisé, l'avantage des petits hôtels par rapport à ceux qui contiennent plusieurs centaines de chambres. Le petit déjeuner est un buffet copieux avec tout ce que l'on peut y espérer. Entre 17 et 19h, l'hôtel propose à ces clients un thé local ou toute autre boisson avec cake, petits gâteaux et tout cela est sans supplément. Cet hôtel mérite vraiment de s'y arrêter.

Hotel Seraglio is well postioned in a quiet suburb close yet close and 3with easy access to all the sights. It is perfect for a long weekend break. The hotel is spotlessly clean and beds are very comfortable. Breakasts were excellent with something for everyone including hot food made to order. All the staff were most courteous. This included advising us on planning our days to maximise our time despite the inclement weather! We particularly welcomed the complimentary drink on arrival (Friday evening) and the afternoon tea and cake each day whilst we warmed ourselves after sightseeing! There are some delightful restaurants in the neighbourhood with fires for when it is cold and roof top views of the Maramaras . This hotel is a gem and we have no hestitation in recommending it to anyone looking for relaxing break in Istanbul.

My husband and I went to Turkey for the first time and stayed here for a few days. We both loved the hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful they even told us where we could go for good shopping which was great! :) The rooms were clean and service was prompt. They also accomodated us when we changed our plans in the last minute and needed to stay for another night. All in all it was a great experience and we will definately stay there again.

My wife and I stayed four nights in hotel Seraglio. The stay was pleasant from our very arrival. Reception by young Kenan was pleasant, and he gave us a lot of information about what to do and see during our stay in Istanbul. It was almost like a Welcome-meeting in an organized tour. Great guy. The Blue Mosque Suite was an excellent room with a very nice view and a large terrace with afternoon sun. The off-season price was very reasonable, but with high season starting already in mid-march the prices may be a bit a bit on the upper end. Remember to book trough the hotels web-site and not a third part as we did. Clenliness was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding. Fresh omelette made by a very friendly cook. Spreads, cheeses, jam, cold cuts, sweets, whatever you may want. The airport service offered by the hotel is very efficient.

Excellent hotel in the center of Sultanahmet, just steps from the Blue Mosque. Their taxi came to take us to the airport. The staff is really friendly and ready to help you in all your needs. Upon our arrival they gave us a map of the city with the opening hours of the main monuments. The hotel is new and clean, the rooms are modern and spacious. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, especially yogurt with honey. We will come back!
